This match is for AR15 variants in all calibers. All entries must be 5 shots.

There are 5 classes for this competition as follows:

Class #1. Is from 50yds, any position, iron sights, 5 shots.
Class #2. Is from 50yds, any position, any optics, 5 shots.
Class #3. Is from 100yds, any position, iron sights, 5 shots.
Class #4. Is from 100yds, any position, any optics, 5 shots.
Class #5. Is from 200yds, any position, any optics, 5 shots.

THE RULES

You will fire 5 shots onto a target that measures at least 8" across or in diameter. paper plates are ideal, but paper targets maybe used as long as they are at least as large as a paper plate. the targets may be printed or marked in any way desired for point of aim. when submitting entries, the entire plate must be photographed.

groups must be shown with a form of measurment (such as calipers, ruler, or "on target" software or similar.)

entries shall include the following:
username
group size
firearm & sighting system
ammunition
date

then take a pic of it and post it here, if you would post a pic of the rifle used as well.

You may submit as many targets as you wish provided one of three things
1. the new group betters the last (leave the old pic up though)
2. the new group is for a different class
3. It was shot with another firearm

The cutoff date for submissions is august 2nd, 2009.

Please submit targets even if you don't think they'll win as the information on how well what shoots may be valuable to other members

lol, your in jd.

but i bet you can beat that!!!!!!!!

i was worried we might not get much biz in the 200yd class, lol!!!

im going to include group size on the scoreboard this month too. it got to the point in the last one i would have to go back through all the entries to see where a new entry landed, but this way it will be right there on the board.

I'll do my best to better it! I really need some better optics, the paralax at 200yrds will move the crosshairs the entire size of the target(8")

i didnt realize you didnt have a.o.

you get a scope with adjustable objective and you might be right there with dubblea, not that your far off of it right now.

why thank you whoever just stickied it.

this means you have to shoot in it.

sorta like when you rescue a puppy.
(no, i dont mean you shoot the puppy)

excellent shooting.

last month we did 10 shot groups and that really opens them up.

we should get some great ones this month with the new 5 shot format.

grrrr..... you're going to make me scope my perfectly sighted AR if my other upper doesn't come on time...:banghead:, but it's all good :D... because i have a 4-16x40 scope ready for action... ;)

yo coffee stick wassupppppppppppppp!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

you should first shoot the iron sight classes, then do the scoped one.

either way you got a whole month.

(coffee sticks are allowed for those that know how to use them)

Sorry. I had to have read that at least twice, it must not have sunk in. Guess I'm a little slow today.

Hi Everybody, I have a question about this ar15 match. This is a match where you go to your range and do the differant yards. Then post them. If so I might give it a try. Have not had my ar out in awhile. 223 cost to much, but I see the are starting to go back down. I mainly shoot black powder.
Thanks
