Dang, i got beat already.Wait ... I shot a 1/2" group in that class just this morning but I can't post pics until July 5th since I'll be in a fox hole with no internet connection. lol, i figured if he was pulling a fast one on me he would have come up with a better lie than a 4" group @ 100yds scoped
(just think, if you had said 3 7/8" your name would be up in lights!!!!!!)

(that never really made a lot of sense to me because it doesnt really fit my definition of a rhyme, but it was popular so ok)
we will probably be there around 1030-1100.
im bringing the garands if you wanna shoot them again.

ps. i didnt realize you still had that jewell trigger. i thought you sold it with that target rifle
(i knew i should have banned the use of jewell triggers for anyone that lives between me and I20, drives a black car, and is a texas concealed handgun license instructor)

DPMS Panther Bull 20 with Burris Fullfield II 4.5-14x42 stock trigger.
Sierra SMK 69gr with 25.5gr R15, Fed 205, Rem brass, 2.25 COL.
Shot off my 20$ Craig's List Twin Rest bench rest and Protektor bag.
I don't know how to measure the group so I put the caliper around the widest area.
Barrel was pretty warm as I was sighting in the scope after shooting sights this year.
The main bull was my 7mm mag with 120gr Ballistic Tips.

me and my big mouth, i can never keep it shut. if i had id be in 1st place, lol.
actually, remeasure it but go from center to center of your farthest holes.
it looks like you are measuring outside to outside.
your groups going to shrink down to about 1.20something when you do it.
then retake the pic and delete that one cuz your are cutting yourself short (as much as it pains me to say it, lol)
write down on the target itself the rifle, ammo, new group size and post it so i can get your name on the leaderboard in the first post of ththread with the proper group size.
make sure to delete the pic you posted cuz your shorting yourself in the neibhorhood of a quarter inch.

new class #4 leader
i am flyin bryans brother and actually we were shooting with forney rider. when we got home just for kicks we measured my best, which i call my "bite mark group" because it sort of looks like a bite mark, and sure enough, its a keeper.
fired with a 16" hbar bushmaster with a free float tube and the famous 15 minute trigger job that we did with helz mcfugly a while back. scope is a simmons 6x20x50 with adjustable objective lens, mounted to a rail on the carry handle.
it yeilds about a 3lb trigger that is very smooth and crisp (for an ar15 stock trigger)
this is also my first post here.
heres the group pics.
and the rifle.
ammo was hand loaded 55g hornady fmjbt, 22g of h322, winchester small rifle primer.
conditions were 85-90 degrees, slight headwind.

oh, good shootin there Garand Poobear. i gots to get ahold of one of them there scopes. or test yalls against my leapold would be better.
