The majority of my clothes are Cabela's. I don't think I've worn Levi jeans since I was in grade school.

Have you seen some of the Levi jean comercials lately ?

" OPioneers! - Go Forth campaign "
It even has a part about "Get your weapons ready ....Have you your pistols ?...Have you your sharp edged axe's ? "
Are they sending out mixed signals ?
The weapons and pistols reference is abstract (their "weapon" is groupthink), and whatever you do, DON'T look at the nauseating older male pedophile caressing and kissing a young male 27 seconds into that video :barf: I need an image of Rosie Odonnell to get that out of my head.

^ Wow, that's not judgmental or bigoted in the slightest. You can tell that from a sub-second snippet of footage that doesn't even fully fade-in before going to the next scene? To me looks like a couple college-aged guys sharing an intimate moment. I know alot of the membership base here are conservative, but that doesn't mean you can be making such comments..

Next time I will ask if they have any jeans that can comfortably fit pistols and sharp edged axes.
Haha! I'll have to take a pic with the IWB holster and send it to the customer support team "I do have my pistols, but I am not sure where to put a sharp edged axe without chafing, any suggestions?"

I just sent them an email explaining that after being a customer for at least 30 years, I am no longer a customer. Will that make a difference? No. Will it make me feel a little better? Yes.

I go for "Toters" by Blackie Collins. I generally buy two pair every other year. Since they are about all I ever wear, they do last! ( I doubt there are more than ten days a year that I wear something else.) I've still got about 8 pair in four stages of wear that still fit me. The ones I bought three years ago are every day wear, those bought before that are for the garden, garage, wood shop, painting, or for the weekend grunge look. At the rate I'm wearing the new ones bought last year, it might be another two years before I buy more.

It's been at least 20 years since I've worn anything Levi's.

Wow... no more levis for me! And I liked them. I should have guess though, by seeing how fruity their ad campaign has become.

I can't always not support those with ideologies that oppose mine, such as made in China stuff, but I am fully able to not support Levis. There are too many other options.

Anyone know a Pro/Neutral company that makes tough jeans? Preferably one that sells in the UK too, as I need some new work jeans. My Dickies jeans are tough overall apart from the pockets and the zip on one of them. The cheapo stuff I got from the 'George' section of the Asda-Walmart all tore in the crotch area. :/

Levis

Now I will never buy Levis, Actually I stopped buying there product when they gave up on the American worker and moved there operation off shore. So long and good by to Levis. :barf:

Levi's? Do they sell those at Walmart or Costco? Don't think I've even seen them, let alone bought em.

Did you know Microsoft promotes a liberal agenda? You better get rid of your computer. Buy a Mac but wait, they support a liberal agenda too. Good luck in your quest my friend because the anti-gunners are too many to avoid.

Getting off topic here, but you could always go with Linux. It's free, so you're not giving money to any company, besides for the hardware itself that is. Many distros have gotten quite user friendly in the last few years. Personally I prefer openSuSe (http://www.opensuse.org). There's always OpenOffice (http://www.openoffice.org) for a free MS Office compatible alternative.

I quit wearing Levi's years ago when they decided to go political. "Shut up and sell good jeans," I say. Any company that wants to make politics instead of product loses my faith pretty quickly. As Milton Friedman once said, "The social responsibility of a business is to make a profit." You do that by offering a product or service that people want, at a competitive price. 'Nuff said.

Germany in the 1930s

If you go to the PAXUSA.ORG site please notice this:

Cumberland County will provide students with the tools to anonymously report weapon threats within their schools and community.

Sounds a bit familiar, oh yeah, it’s in The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich by William Shirer. He was there during Hitler’s rise to power.

I have disagreed with majority of the ad content they have been running. So many far left fringe overtones that it almost makes you forget that they are running an ad about denim. It comes as no suprise that they would be anti-2a. They can keep that trash on the west coast.
