Their recoil reduction incorporates a dual spring guide rod system. In the case of the full size USP the combination of this and weight make it a very soft shooting pistol.I've never owned an HK, but have shot several and believe they have the smoothest DA trigger I have ever shot. The followup SA shots were extremely smooth. I don't know anything about HK internals, but whatever they do to mitigate felt recoil is amazing. Congrats on a fine weapon!
Depending on the model, some of them also use a plastic buffer as well.Their recoil reduction incorporates a dual spring guide rod system. In the case of the full size USP the combination of this and weight make it a very soft shooting pistol.
I often ask, ones that know HKs more than me, if the plastic buffer can be taken out with no ill effects, can't seen to get the answer I would like, yesDepending on the model, some of them also use a plastic buffer as well.
I've been trying to find a nice used one for a while, usually find them in .40 unfortunately.Bought it used with 4 mags, 2 15 rounders. Like the way it feels and shoots. It's the v3 (da/sa).View attachment 234860
I got lucky, went in for ammo, walked out with ammo and gun.I've been trying to find a nice used one for a while, usually find them in .40 unfortunately.

You gotta do what you gotta do! I tell my wife it's all for her protection!Yeah that happened to me a couple of weeks ago. Went in for 9mm ammo on sale, left with used Glock 17 that was also on sale..haha
Why because you don't want to get another caliber or the recoil ? the P-2000SK is a very soft shooter in .40, if that was your concern.I've been trying to find a nice used one for a while, usually find them in .40 unfortunately.
