Lynyrd Skynyrd has a few

Mr. 38 Special
Mr. 38 Special, you got a barrel that's a blue and cold.
Ya aint good for nuttin' cept put a man 6' in a hole.
....
Now handguns are made for killin'
They aint no good for nuttin else
And if you like to drink your whiskey
You might even shoot yourself.

Actually, that's Mr. Saturday Night Special, Skynyrds anti gun song

I stand corrected and have corrected my post....
No requirement for the song to be pro-gun given in OP
Politics aside, it's a great song... as is everything else Skynyrd did
Being the OP, you're quite right, don't care if it's pro or anti gun, just that it's a darn good song, and that one is.
But then again, I'm a real southern rock fan, so Molly Hatchet, Outlaws, Skynyrd, .38 Special..... All faves!

Probably several hundred songs that make a reference to a gun of some kind. I wonder how many poems make a reference to firearms. I'm not big on poetry but I can't think of any.

Just about any of them in Kipling's "Barrack room ballads." Most notable "Like a Soldier."

When you're wounded and left on Afghanistan's plains,
and the women come out to cut up what remains,
jest roll to your rifle and blow out your brains and go to your gawd like a soldier.

Although "Fuzzy Wuzzy" makes it a hard choice.

Then 'ere's to you, Fuzzy-Wuzzy, an' the missis and the kid;
Our orders was to break you, an' of course we went an' did.
We sloshed you with Martinis, an' it wasn't 'ardly fair;
But for all the odds agin' you, Fuzzy-Wuz, you broke the square.

That was my first thought. It's also my go to song when some A-hole decides to tell me I'm wrong when I call a revolver a pistol since the lyrics "I jumped up fired my pistols and I shot him with both barrels" predate the revolver by a good bit.

We actually have a double barrel pin fired pistol, so I know whereof you speak.

Then there is the favorite song of one of my departed TOB's (tough old bird) at the Veteran's Home. It's politically incorrect in so many ways but then so was he. I really miss that resident hero.

"The kid drew his pistol
And Doc did too,
Doc outdrew him
Shot him through.
The Kid looked up said,
"Don't shoot me no more"
But Doc just smiled
And emptied his 44."

From "Have Another Drink On Me, Doc Holiday"

Ten Cent Pistol - The Black Keys

Chorus:

"She hit them with her ten cent pistol
Because they ruined her name
Well, she hit them with her ten cent pistol
And they've never been the same"

Small Change - Tom Waits

Sample:

"Small change got rained on with his own .38
And his headstone's
A gumball machine
No more chewing gum or
Baseball cards or
Overcoats or dreams and
Someone is hosing down the sidewalk
And he's only in his teens"

Great Song

God Is A Bullet - Concrete Blonde

"He didn't have to use the gun they put in his hand

But when the guy came at him, well, he panicked and ran

And it's a thirty long years 'fore they'll give him another chance"
