What is the difference between a Savage 110 and the 111?
Are there heavy / target barrels available for one or both?
I heard a guy talking about his Savage 110 that he built into a "Sniper's rifle"
I chose the Savage 110/111 as a starting base for a long range rifle because with my...
Carbine85, Finally someone who openly agrees with me. Mosin are great until you shoot any other battle rifle. well, with the exception of the Finns which will keep up with any battle rifle in its class.
Great find and looks good!, I love the No.4 series but never had a No.5. the more I think about its pretty strange that I've 20-some No.4 rifles through my hands over the years and 10 at one time yet I've never even touched a No.5 weird.....
Anyways congrats on the the carbine and have a...
Just got one used from Ebay and it didn't come with any instructions. Does anyone know of a link / site in which I can print out a clear and legible copy? I went to the Redding website but found nothing. here is the said model that I need instructions for...
It was a perfect day to get in some shooting and I had the time so off to the range I went today. Eddy had just gotten her optic installed and I had a bunch of test loads to try So, it all worked out.. My plan was to take some videos of shooting the dinger out there at 200 but I forgot the video...

HOLY SH*T!!!!
I never crimp any of my loads not so much for fear of a KB but more so because I never noticed any real benefits to crimping. I'm not saying there are no benies, I just never noticed any. glad you're ok and that sucks about your gun
its multiple reasons that cause them.
factory +p in in older revolvers
too much powder
wrong size projectile
.38spl & .357 confusion
wrong powder
progresive reloading errors
there are so many causes but If I was to put it in rough numbers 97% operator caused & 3% mechanical issues...

I couldn't imagine the cost totaled by recalling the chicom for retro-fit of a part they don't need and were not designed for. it is not the guns fault for slam fires so spending $60 to fix what ain't broke is stupid, the fault is it the American made 3 cent primer. to recall a million rifles...
