6000 rounds and counting through my XD Sub with NO problems at all. No finish wear problems either. Most XD bashers tend to be Glock owners in my experience. Funny though, owning an XD doesn't make me want to bash Glocks at all.---Oneshot

Have you checked out www.rimfirecentral.com I have two tricked out CF barreled 10/22's and that site has helped me out quite a bit. They also list all kinds of aftermaeket suppliers for 10/22's--Oneshot

XD 9 subcompact, Under my pillow, Loaded with no round in the chamber. It's easy enough to rack one in if needed. I have a kid so when I'm ready for bed it comes out of the safe, when I wake up, back in it goes. It does NO good to have it locked in the safe when an uninvited guest shows up...
