I'll second the vote for an Ed Brown Kobra, although I'd prefer the full-size rather than the carry model.
Another Holy Grail would be a gun that I honest-to-God could have had: an 1890's vintage Colt SAA, nickel, factory-engraved, and in better than 95% condition. I was just too stupid to realize that it was a very good trade for a Jag XKE.
I'll probably catch a lot of flak for this, but, I would really love to get a Para-Ordnance P14-45 LDA. Of course, after that, I'd want to adopt her sisters, the 16-40 LDA and 18-9 LDA.
That Auto-Mag looks nice too, but I'd prefer the AutoMag III in .30 carbine myself.
i just recently got mine. From when I first saw one and decided I had to have one, it took almost 10 years before I got my mind set to buy my P7M8. What's next? P210 would be verrry nice or perhaps a P9S.
A 1938?-1941 Walther P-38. A good high quality steel frame version. Made before fit and finish began to suffer. Got to shoot the P-1 version quite a bit when I was a teenager. Someday I will be able to afford a WWII version. Oh yeah, it will be a shooter too.
Mine is not all that exotic, but i've been in love with the 454 raging bull ever since i first shot one.....
Ya know, this is not a good thread to read on payday......
Several years ago it was a premier grade Freedom Arms .454 but now I have a few Freedom Arms guns so I got to lusting after something else.
This year I decided I had to have one of the S&W 500s, Mine should arrive at my dealers next week.
Then I got the wants for a custom Ruger Bird'shead .32 Vaquero with ajustable sights added. David Clements is doing this one for me now.
I guess what I am trying to say is that the one I want "most" is the one I am getting next.
One I don't have but want is a Freedom Arms Model 97 in .45 Colt with 4.25" Octagon barrel and adjustable sights.
Someday I will get one of these if I can get the extra $$.
Walther P5 Compact and/or P-38K. The P5C is doable. The last (and only) P-38K I saw for sale was under glass (NO TOUCHY!!) for $1,700!!
It stayed there.
