Probably my glock 19X. It’s the ultimate utilitarian pistol and I also have plenty of the 33 rounders laying around. It’s boring and I don’t shoot it that much anymore, but it is one of my home defense guns and has never failed me with well over 1500 rounds through it.
To each his own, I buy guns to shoot them and/or carry them, not let them sit and collect dust because I might not be able to get them serviced. I’m no collector, I’m an enthusiast. I understand those that do, but that’s just not my desire.
I know these guns were sent out to these reviewers so the reviews will be glowing at first, but here’s another

So Daniel Defense redid the Hudson H9 and made a lot of changes after years of testing. I think this will be a very good gun now since quality control and manufacturing will be leaps and bounds ahead of what Hudson could offer. I won’t run out and...
Here’s a more traditional 10mm commander close to the price point you mentioned. This gun weighing less than 27 ounces has to kick like a mule though if running full power 10mm.
Funny, I’m kind of in the same boat. I’ve been carrying my fn 510 tactical a lot since I bought almost a year ago now. And while it’s a great shooter and 100% reliable through over a thousand rounds now I’m just wanting a 1911 commander in 10mm to play with. So with all the marketing for the...
My 10mm experience is limited as well, but my fn 510 tac is a tack driver. I have no interest in hunting with a 10mm handgun so I doubt I’ll ever stretch it out past 25 yards.
There’s 2 things that would have made this gun a must have for me. 1- a full length picatinny rail would have just made this glock look cooler. 2- this format but in 10mm. I’m 100% sure neither one of those things will ever happen.
Not all guns like all ammo. That particular bullet the Glock barrel doesn’t seem to like. For self defense I like to keep stock barrels, but for hunting or target shooting I’d probably look at a kkm barrel and see what it does or just go with a different load all together.
Harder than steel per its weight, but not really harder than steel. The grip of a Glock is like what 8-10 oz or so? If someone made a grip for a Glock that weighed 10 oz out of steel technically the steel would be too thin and the polymer2 would be stronger, but if the Glock grip was made with...
Yeah that one, the sig p220. That’s a great setup and I’m thinking of doing something along those lines to mine as well. I don’t have a cz97 but that’s a nice setup as well.
Not to mention the dpp has way less battery life compared to trijicons and holosuns and most every other optic that fits...
I have a sig p220 police trade in that’s pulled quite a few bedside nightstand duties. I also have a tisas 1911 B45R duty that’s been on the nightstand quite a few nights. They are both as reliable as a handgun can be but anymore I just assume have a higher capacity gun on the nightstand, at...
Not surprised Glock is dominating this poll one bit, as I have 4 and like them a lot. I am surprised FN has only one vote at the time of this post. They make exceptional handguns and I absolutely love my 510 tactical 10mm. With that said I voted for Walther, which also surprises me with so few...
