Thanks for the links I have read through the full 30 page version. At this point the landowner is only interested in getting rid of the dam which needs to be done.
Thanks for the information it seems like I need to find a trapper :).
Long story short, I have been asked to shoot a couple of beavers that have made a dam which is causing erosion and threatening to damage a culvert along 108 a road in Northwestern Vermont by the Watershed group I interned for over the summer. .
My question is what is the best way to go about...
It is March now here and it was negative 11 when I left for school this morning. So I would be happy with 40 for getting out to do a little target practice.
Prairie dog hunting does look like fun. Maybe when I move out west I will get a chance to try it.
What caliber do you use? 22lr?
As I have said they can if they want but scaring away potential gun owners is not a good thing I also realize this is just one thing that people need to work on with new gun owners. For instance male employees always telling the woman that walks in wanting a gun that she needs a revolver.
I realize that pretty much sums it up Sam but I would just hate to have someone walk in to look at maybe buying their first gun or was just interested that there was a gun shop and wanted to check it out and before having a chance to really look around and get informed was scared off by someone...
Wow people seriously not that left leaning actually I consider myself a libertarian. All i am saying is please leave the aliens are coming out of the gun store if you don't I cannot stop you and do believe you are entitled to you're opinion. Just during these times it is best to stick to the...
TO MLJ fair enough. What I mean (and I hope you people realize this) is that it is bad to scare of potential gun owners and the only way we are to keep the gun culture alive is to bring new people in and introduce them to it and some might be less inclined to do that after hearing something...
Don't get me wrong I don't think the government is doing anything but what it wants but on the other hand talking about things there is no proof of, does not help our cause in recruiting other gun owners.
This may have been done before but I was just in the local gun store talking and picking up fishing licenses and one of guys I was talking to nice guy but was going on about this that and the other that the government does. It makes the rest of us look bad and may drive away potential gun...
For the love of the constitution. Removing someone's rights without going to court is denying someone DUE PROCESS. These threads keep popping up and in my humble opinion if you want to take away someone's rights you should have to take them to court otherwise you are violating the 14th and the...
Was just at the powder horn a local gun shop and they had a model 12 in 16 gauge for 275, probably around the fifties because of the stupid muzzle brake on the end.
no it is not chambered for 3 inch shells. okay cool number 5 it is have to pattern it before May turkey season.
to the last poster I realize it would be cheaper to just buy a new gun than modify but the model 12 is SO much nicer handling than any 870 or 500.
