I'm mucking about with my AR's. Already have a PA MRDS mounted on it but it is a tube style, non-reflex sight.
Not much point in it for me. I can aim with both eyes open fine on most scopes so if the optic is head-position sensitive not much advantage over a scope for me.
So, anyone...
No money in it.
Slides tend to be forged or cast, not cnc from billet. If the design requires swapping sides for other bits (take down pins and slide release) then you've got too many fiddly bits differing for one assembly line.
Big money for the production line, big money for the dies...
I believe this to be a symptom of yellow journalism, not political bent. Good news never leads because it doesn't sell. Fear and uncertainty is what brings the eyeballs.. ala 'tune in at 10 to find out the 5 things you do that cause dementia in old age!'. The threat has to be to the individual...
I have a m92 in 454. I think it was right after the rossi/legend buy out production date.
It's been a bit of a train wreck. 45c loads make for fun plinking with it. Feed lever that shipped with the rifle wouldn't feed 454 so I ended up having to re-mill it as well as slicked up the action...

Sorry for the...
Much better :-)
However, are you judicial or elected repesentative of a state or federal body? Executive refers to POTUS in the constitution. While the military does report to the executive they are not, themselves, executive (art 2 sec 1 clause 1 for who has executive, art 2 sec 2 clause...
Please quote article and section then that delegates that authority to you as a member of the federal military? Or as a US citizen? Your oath was to uphold the constitution and its system. i'm pretty dubious it said anything about being judge of it.That oddly enough is the job of elected or...
Bluntly, under the Constitution that isn't your job. You can vote. You can volunteer to help campagins, oversee ballot counts, and drive people to polling stations. It's irrelevant if the gov follows what you see as being law of the land, only what SCOTUS sees it as being. We aren't at a...
I'm going to go out on a limb here... I haven't read the consitution lately.
I do however seem to recall that it outlined a system of checks and balances between government arms with provisions for regular replacement of various positions via some derviative of popular voting.
I recall...
Suppose it all depends on how mechanically talented you are. It's an R1A1 so its a fair to good chance the receiver is an imbel. At least, as far as I understand things...
Imbel receivers were among the best produced for the civie market so.. you may have some good bones to work with. I'd check...
Unless my reference materials are wrong, 303 brit is only good just under 53k psi.
375 ruger books out as 62k psi?
Enflied bolts are rear-locking. Meaning the body of the bolt actually carries the pressure. They fatigue over time differently than a front locking lug just due to the length...
Just think. A .17" dia projectile that due to its hardness / flesh&bone parting efficency is as effective as a 45-70 slug.
I'm pretty sure you won't get there using lead in a copper sleave.
tungsten dart with fins on the end encased in a soft plastic? Plastic peels off on impact leaving the...
7x22mm. Or rather, a 257" dia bullet in a 40s&w length case. 117 gr at 1400 fps maybe?
Because what the market really needs is a better penetrating 9mm replacement.
Then again, a 75 gr version of the above with a nosler tip that could function in the 1600 fps range would be rather gruesome.
...the bolt is moving in recoil at around 12 fps, spring probably isn't bouncing it back in any faster. Most likely, its moving a lot slower.
12 fps * 12 inch = 144. 144 / 1000 (ms) = .144 inch per ms. A mm is roughly 0.03". Is it reasonable to expect a 5 pound recoil spring to create a return...
Rich individuals choosing to champion ideas will probably be the most effective solution. Why? well....
non-profits have overhead. And that overhead has been increasing steadily over last few decades to turn non-profits into money makers for their board members. Sure, they don't 'turn a...
we are essentially psychotic apes. It's worked well for us. We over-react to immediate danger and that'll tend to keep us alive. But the more advanced we become, the longer we are stable, the less able to recognize long term danger we become.
Its our nature. Rules, data points, logic only...
Wolf supposedly has been making 6.5 grendel in their poly-performance line.

Anyone actually laid eyes on the stuff or have a price? I'm seeing forum postings rolling back to '08 about the stuff but none of the usual suspects seem to have it available. I can find gold, but not the...
Hey all;
Stupid question. I have a cz-75 located locally thats at a good price. But, I'm a lefty. Looking at the part schematic i can tell the safety can't be swapped to the other side. However, I'm not spotting much difference on the cz-85's safety.. which is a ambidextrous one.
so, is...
