The P232 is probably the gun I carry the most. It's thin, lightweight, accurate, and points more naturally than any other gun I have. So it's "only" a .380? Eight rounds on tap oughta do the trick just fine, IMO.
H&K P2000SK (9x19mm - DA/SA)
Reliability = 5
Firepower = 4 (10+1)
Caliber = 4
Ergonomics = 3
Concealability = 2
Ease of follow up shots = 4
Total Score = 22
Notes: On reliability, I have not had any kind of malfunction in this pistol in over 800 rounds. I formerly owned an HK USP Compact in...
Orlando resident here. I pocket carry a NAA Guardian (.32) on work days for deep concealment, but on my off days I carry either an HK P2000SK (9mm) or Sig P232 (.380) IWB at 3:30 position.
If you carry IWB, find a good holster that has a sweat guard. I used to wear an undershirt all the time...
I zeroed mine for 100 yards, which gives me the following POI using M193 ammo:
-1.5" @ 25 yds
-0.7" @ 50
-2" @ 200
-10" @ 300
At 400 yards, the POI comes to about 26-27" below POA, but I've never shot that far with it, and can't even imagine how wind would affect a 55gr projectile at that...
From everything I've heard, the Sig 1911s are reliable pistols, but personally, I dislike external extractors on 1911s. Also, the Sig "1911" slide appears to be quite different from the traditional 1911 design. These and certain other variations (from other manufacturers as well) don't appeal to...
I live in Orlando and travel to the Ocala Forest range to shoot anything other than handguns. Rifle range is only 100 yards, so it's not exactly suitable for honing your rifle skills, but if you just want to have a fun afternoon blasting away at some targets or shooting skeet, it's a decent...
I've shared this one a few times...
but I will do so again in the hopes that someone else will learn from my mistake.

This is because the Stoner design like many other military-designed semiauto rifles has a free floating firing pin that relies solely on inertia rather than having to overcome the force of a retaining spring.
It's nothing to be worried about.
In the AR design, the hammer should always lightly...
I am a Florida resident with CWL and planning on taking a trip through Alabama. I searched online, but couldn't find what I am looking for.
Here is my question: If a person with a CWL carries in Alabama and has his/her CWL but no other photo ID, is that a criminal violation or is it a...
possum, I'm pretty sure that picture is mis-labeled. IT should read from left to right, 7.92x33mm, 7.62x39mm, 5.45x39mm, ???. There is definitely no 7.62x45mm in the pic. How could the second cartridge from the left be 7.62x45mm if its case length is nearly identical to the 5.45x39mm cartridge...
Oh, and the Guardians do not have a firing fin block, but independent laboratory testing confirms they are drop safe. http://www.naaminis.com/hpwhite.pdf
I purchased a NAA Guardian in .32 ACP not too long ago. I needed something in size in between the NAA Mini (.22 Mag) and my other CCW guns, namely my Sig P232 (.380 ACP) and HK P2000SK (9mm), both of which I use for IWB carry.
Just shot the Guardian for the first time about a week ago and I'm...
