I've had cheapy Century/Imbel/Lithgow and Century/Imbel/BSA FAL's that have run 100% flawless for years. Are the DSA's 2 or 3 times the gun? Maybe for some but not for my purposes.I don't have fantasies that I'm one day going to use them "for serious social work" in current slang,I use em to...
To be honest,I'm not that familiar with them at all.It seems like the original bluing to me.It's a little thin in spots but it's in pretty good shape as far as wear and pitting etc go.
Wood grips, obviously, with a seemingly very little or not used at all pair along with it.
What would a fair price be for a 1920 manufacture 1903 Colt in 95%+ condition? It'd come with an original cardboard box and a spare set of unused grips.
If she isn't going to carry it,forget about all of the above and get a compact 9mm.Not only will it be cheaper to shoot,it will most likely be easier to shoot as well.I'm a large guy who isn't recoil sensative and find that when shooting my Seecamps due to their tiny size and lack of sights,not...
Most of my relatives live in VA and I honestly have never seen one person OCing, not even a single person who had to expose a CC piece in a restaurant that served alcohol.
I don't really believe it's much of a fad or trend, just that THR concentrates people who practice it or who would take...
This is as close as I get. It's more of an overall life outlook than an expression of RKBA support but I personally believe in fully supporting ALL of our rights.
It's a matter of personal taste and style but I can't pocket carry anything larger than my Seecamp.I really don't like anything that large in my pocket and couldn't pocket carry many of the things some people do,but obviously options and opinions vary.
I own better looking,better made,better pointing,better finished,better shooting,more accurate,more easily concealed,more expensive/less expensive...handguns but choose to carry a G19.
Why,when there seem to be guns that are better in any given way? Because when it all averages out,what...
Getting tagged by an African rock python that size sure would suck.
Of course if you're smaller,it could suck even worse:

I find it rediculous that with traffic moving at 75mph, 5 mph over that is reckless. That means there are a whole bunch of people at the barest edge of control:rolleyes
Every time I go south to visit my mom,I have to constantly remind my right foot that VA troopers aren't anything close to...
I have read many things on here that not only make me roll my eyes but that would have been enough for many fence-sitters on RKBA to have gone to the anti side if they think that's the norm for American gun owners had they seen them.
I enjoy the technical discussion and do see owning firearms...
They would need to only add a ( largely cosmetic and not actually used by anyone I know) safety to the trigger a la my Seecamp LWS32's.Unfortunately,that adds another $100 to the MSRP to a fairly expensive for its size pistol, but it's the only like option that we have and I'm glad that they at...
Funny,I just read House to House and the author makes the comment of the M-4 being the finest rifle in service today. He also sings the praises of the usefulness of the, albeit finicky,SAW.
OUTSTANDING book BTW: http://www.amazon.com/House-Soldiers-Memoir-David-Bellavia/dp/1416546979
It'd be a fine single rule if it was only for someone who had no intent on shooting a firearm, just being able to safely handle it.However, just simply saying that one should treat a firearm as if it is always loaded doesn't really tell someone much other than perhaps they'd be best off to not...
