I got sent a picture of some oddball ammo I have never seen before. He says it's very heavy, heavier than normal slugs. Short of asking him to cut them open, what are these?
Used a Choate mag extension and an inova X-5 light. (the T-2 is on order and will be swapped in. More on that later.)
I cut the end of the magazine extension off about 1.25" from the muzzle of the 18" barrel on my 870. I finished the cut as nicely as I could with a small stone and cold blue pen...
This has taken more than two weeks to make the papers. I'm ashamed of the VA Pilot for this one:

All,
I have been selected as Fire Control Chief (SEL) by a panel of Master Chiefs after whom I hope I have been molded. It is with the utmost sincerity that I thank all of you who know me and have helped me along the way. I am humbled by all of you.
Please forgive my distinct lack of...
I just made a deal to get this: Smith and Wesson Hand Ejector in .44 Special, with barrel cut to 3.5" and a rifle ramp and silver bead installed.
I have a 2nd model HE cut to 3.5" already, but it's uglier than this one, and parkerized. I have been waiting around to put a dovetailed shotgun...
So, I bought a 629 MG and decided it was almost perfect, and went about making it the way I like.
Chamfered charge holes, SDM semi-adjustable rear sight, dehorn entire gun, remove lock, polish turn line and face of cylinder, Ahrends grips, and Lobo Gunleather OWB rig. The only thing left to do...
This is the Nork I carry these days. I got the gun a long while back, and it was butt ugly, but ran great, so I took the time to make it real purty.
High gloss blue (1200 grit on the flats, 320 on the rest) with trijicon front sight, Yost Retro rear, EGW extractor, firing pin stop, high...
I just got this gun on another forum, and want to get set up for it right away. It's a 2-inch Lawman in .357 Magnum. I have questions.
First: what speedloaders does it use?
Second: Where can I get boot grips for it?
Third: to customize or not? All my guns, with maybe one or two...
I shot a nice doe at a measured 209 yards, and she died right there with a neck shot, 55gn soft point from an NEF single shot. Nice trip, all told. Saw lots and lots of deer, but only one tag.

I just got a set of orders to a ship in Everett, WA, and I should be getting there sometime late next July.
Soooo,
I have a few (very) nice blued handguns and shotguns that I carry whenever I'm in VA, NY, or WV. What I want to know is, how do I go about protecting these beautiful blued...
and today the sandstorm has cleared, and the cowards are hiding, so I have some time:
One of my guys here asked me about carrying and getting mugged. He says: What if the BG has a shotgun? What if he sneaks up on you?
I had conveniently already had this conversation a dozen times and came to...
I just got issued an M-16A2 from Balimoy, Venice, Fla. Anybody ever heard of them? It's finished just like the FN ones we all have, only the trigger is less good, and the barrel is 1/8 vice 1/7 like the others.
Ideas, info?
