On paper, maybe. But I doubt you will notice much difference. At any rate, a .30-30 is relatively easy on the shoulder. I doubt you will have a problem with any of the loads.

One other thing - be sure to "plunk test" your rounds for seating depth. The Bayou 124 gr. TC bullet profile will require seating a little deeper with some pistols. The ogive doesn't taper as much as it looks like and with my G26, the bullet was hitting the lands until I went to 1.08".

Lots of good advice. But since it happened near the end of the match and the Bullseye load was pretty light, I'm guessing the gun just gunked up with powder residue. I had that happen before with light factory loads that shot dirty.
