Like most people when I first started into the NFA world I wanted Hollywood quiet but as my collection grew I found a fondness for smaller, shorter, lighter cans and I've ended up with not just one but two setups that are loud but loved.
One is a 12.5" 5.56 SBR that I use a Torrent T9k on and...
Anyone seen one in the wild, was looking for a 22 Mag with a threaded barrel to suppress. Price is great and other Howa's seem to have a good reputation.
Looking for a starting point with AA5744, I have WW296 also, but would like to use the 5744.
Midway has seconds of the 395gr sub-x now, at least I'm 99.9% that's what they are Midway won't say.
Gun is a 14.5" AR carbine gas. I plan to eventually getting a suppressor for it.
So had a productive trip to the gun show this weekend picking up these two classic Smiths a 34 and 28-2
Had a1/2 day at work today so I took them to the range. This was the first round out of the 36 @ 7 yards
Not a fluke it really shoots, and sights are spot on. The 28 is a keeper too and...
Am in the process of building a 450 Bushmaster AR, I plan to reload and I have a good supply of Accurate 5744, it seems like it should be a decent powder for heavier bullets.
Just wondering if anyone has tried it and what your results were.
I have a older SP1 style big pins Colt lower and am wanting to do a retro build and am torn on a A1 build or a XM177. I have other ARs and don't really have a specific need for this.
Was wanting to try this combination and see how it worked and wondered if anybody had tried it.
Was gonna use MBC 165gr coated bullets and enough Unique to make 1000 fps.
Looking at a range toy target 9mm based on the CZ design. Is the CZ really worth double the money? And for those that own them and have shot other target 9mm how do they stack up? would the CZ be on the same playing field as say a tuned 1911 or sa Smith 952?
Ok I know I got a good deal (always a good deal when you get a gun you want) but just how good did I do? Strolled into local Cabela's bargain cave and walked out with a Blue NiB 5.5" fixed sight Old Army for $278 OTD.
I'm tickeled was just about to leave and stopped to talk to an old coworker. I look down and notice this CZ75 Kadet he's got it marked $450. I ask what he's got to have. He says $400 and it's got 6 mags and he even throws in the Midway pouch. Now my 85 Combat has a buddy.
It didn't come with...
I'll start
top to bottom

sombody with plenty of time and ambition must of got bored.found this 1894 Marlin 44 mag at the gunshow today traded a Uberti model P for it.the takedown mechanism is simple and tight.I'm assuming they were unhappy with scoped accuracy, as it was wearing a weaver rail mount:barf:.The wood is in...
for a recreational shooter is the white oak upper worth the extra $200?
really just lookin for an accurate A2 style upper that I can maybe try NRA highpower.
It's getting close to done.the last mods were cerama coating the frame and the Chain-mall Crimson Trace grips.it's favorite load is 9.0 grns of longshot behind 180 XTPs for 1225 fps:evil:.
as the title states I used wheeler cerama coat to refinish my Taurus 905. midway had it on sale last month. pretty easy to use just disassembled and degreased it with Gunscruber, hung it from a coat hanger and sprayed. Then bake for an hour. I think it turned out good.
A few months ago I started a thread about my step grandfathers 1897 winchester it was made in 1908.it had been shot (probably a lot) early in its life but grandpa Jack wasn't much of a hunter I assume it was inherated by him from a uncle,he was born in '07.well anyway it had gone neglected for...
Had a couple people in another thread say the blazers 200grn golddots have more velocity than the std speer 200grn golddots.Speer's websight lists the same velocity.anybody chronoed both?
