if I could put 10 new guns in the safe that I just had to have what would they be?

The ones I have are in bold:

22lr- gotta have one.
22 Hornet- fun little round.
243- love it.
30-30- Classic.
45-70- Classic. Now that I have one, wouldn't do without it.
375 H&H - Classy, I want one.
7mm STW- Since I handload, may as well over the 7mag. Great diameter, and I don't own one. I'll have a .284 shooter eventually.
257 Roy- What a screamer. The quarter bore is a sweet deer caliber (I imagine).
30-06- It gets the job done. Pretty classic.
270/WSM- The .277" bullet has earned a spot I think. I prefer the WSM , may as well have the speed. Although the standard 270 will do what you need it to. Much like the 30-06, 300 Mag relationship.

I'm sure I've left something important out. And my list will change as time goes on
