I still don't understand why they hate ammoman so much. It's an inexpensive, reliable source for ammunition. The things on there about him being a scammer and crook are pure BS. They act like he should be sending them top-notch .00001 MOA shooting ammunition packaged in handcarved wooden boxes lined with satin for "what they pay". It also seems to be based on one or two bad incidents. All I can say is that I and my shooting friends have ordered from him many a time with not a single problem.
You order a case of this M855. You get a case of Wolf. Eric says tough luck, no refunds. You just paid $400 for a case of Wolf, advertised as M855. Tell me again how he's not a scam?
Devil's Advocate here, but if I had a source for .223 at a third or even half of Ammoman's prices, I don't think I'd be advertising it and have it all sell out.I'm still waiting to hear where we can get ammo for a half to a third of what Ammoman charges.
If he has ripped anybody off at all, and won't correct the matter, it's not high road to continue to support dealer X.
Sorta. What other sources are there for Lake City M855 besides Ammoman? I never see it listed anywhere else.
Does anyone know where else to find it?
I've only heard with any reliability of one person with the SKS problem. I also know that I've had a number of successful and hassle-free purchases from him. So, it makes sense to me to continue doing business with ammoman for the time being.
