Anti-gun folks promote 'swatting' legal gun owners who are out in the public

Really surprised that no one started up a web site hosted in another country that ID's hardcore antis for the real criminals to target. Kind of like the sign that says my neighbor is anti and has no guns.
When Ohio first got concealed carry, some papers, including the Cleveland Plain Dealer published the names (and other information) of CHL holders.

They seemed genuinely surprised when the employees of those publications had a WEALTH of their personal information published on various websites. Reminds me of a comment by Sir Laurence Olivier in the great documentary "The World at War". Saying of the Japanese reaction to being the bombed instead of the bombers, he noted words to the effect of, "Aerial bombing was something that happened to OTHER people."

I agree that it is surprising. Anti-gun groups have frequently taken deliberate & reckless actions that can harm law-abiding citizens, showing their lack of concern for public safety (and basic morals.) This is most ironic given gun control is supposed to make the public "safer." Often driven by narcissism, impulsivity, and racism, this type of behavior is not uncommon, and many of these anti groups have made it clear that they will cross just about any line, regardless of the potential harm their actions may cause.

However, it is pretty rare to see pro-2A groups do this sort of stuff, and the way we respond is generally very different. If we ever engaged in the same behaviors these nutcase anti-gunners do, they would accuse us of terrible things, such as undermining human rights and recklessly endangering public safety. And they'd be right, because that is exactly what their actions are doing. But, by and large, the 2A community will not stoop to this level. And after all, this website is named, The High Road...
