When Ohio first got concealed carry, some papers, including the Cleveland Plain Dealer published the names (and other information) of CHL holders.Really surprised that no one started up a web site hosted in another country that ID's hardcore antis for the real criminals to target. Kind of like the sign that says my neighbor is anti and has no guns.
They seemed genuinely surprised when the employees of those publications had a WEALTH of their personal information published on various websites. Reminds me of a comment by Sir Laurence Olivier in the great documentary "The World at War". Saying of the Japanese reaction to being the bombed instead of the bombers, he noted words to the effect of, "Aerial bombing was something that happened to OTHER people."
