Anyone have a 1911 style 9mm?

Any .38 Super 1911 can be a 9mm with an additional 9mm barrel, 9mm magazine, and maybe another spring (although mine works with the issue spring). Combo guns are quite common.

Two different RIAs you posted there. The stock photo is a single stack.

If you're made of money, Dan Wesson's bobtail commander-size Guardian is available in 9mm. Buy me one, too!

The Guardian can be affordable, buying a blem reduces the price ,Dan Wessons blem is some manufactures new!

I've had a 9mm 1911 by almost every major manufacturer and semi-custom shop that make them excepting Ed Brown and SVI.

On the low end of the scale I would get an STI Spartan.
Medium Price Range- Dan Wesson
High End: Take your pic between Wilson, Nighthawk, SACS, or Les Baer. Or if you are really lucky snag a Guncrafter. If you get the Nighthawk avoid the standard polymer finish an get Ionbond.

Whatever you do avoid Para like a mixture of the plague and an IRS tax audit.

I think they are Star Model B's 9mm's in the hands of these two.:D

Sorry if I'm late, but you could get the Rock Island Armory 1911 Tactical with a caliber combo of .22 TCM and 9mm for around $750ish. You can use the same magazine, 17 rounds for either caliber. The .22 TCM was Armscor/RIA's competitor for the 5.7x28mm. Hope I could help.

DW Guardian here. I admit it was hard to bring myself to pay ~$1400 for a 9mm 1911 (more than twice what I have paid for any handgun before), however I would do it again in a heartbeat. The fit and finish of the DW line is IMHO up there with a lot of the custom guns for half the price.

When you chamber a round (so far my has eaten anything it's been fed) the slide fells like its riding on ball bearings.

Again IMHO the DW 1911's are the best bang for the buck.

Put me on the list with a RIA Tactical in 9mm as well. Me likey. Only problem I've had is getting the last round stuffed into the mag.

Since the Seventies I've owned various Colts, Kimbers, Dan Wessons and Springfields in 9MM. More than one of each. The Colts, with the traditional unramped barrel usually/always? took a little tuning to achieve reliability with the various bullet shapes. Had a Springfield loaded a couple years ago. Didn't have too much luck with that one in stock form. I have a custom SA 9MM built on an older springfield that is quite nice though. The Dan Wesson PM9 guns are very nice. The 9MM Kimbers Ive had over the last ~15 years , in spite of all the calling them "MIMbers" etc, were flawless performers. My currrent 9MM 1911s, with ramped barrels, all seem to be as reliable as the .45 ACP and .38 Super versions I have. My STI in .38 Super has been such an excellent pistol, I'm may have to add one of those in 9MM one of these days...

Btw, I had a Star 1911 "type" pistol years ago. Nothing wrong with it, but I'd sure recommend an actual 1911 design instead.

I have the RIA TCM, which I mostly run as a 9mm - that's a fullsize doublestack gun. It's reliable and more accurate than I am, and has a decent adjustable rear sight.
One of these days I'll put a F.O. front on it.

I also have a RIA 9mm CS tactical, it's also reliable and runs well, and the Mrs likes it more than shooting a CS in .45acp

I wouldn't get into a Star now with good options available.
