Been getting the bug for one of those Flattys, but am curious if any of you guys had a problem with reliability after installing one. Since it's a carry gun, "or at least may be", I thought I would ask here before doing it. Night sights are one thing, and I have done all kinds of mods on Glocks, but the M&P looks a bit more finicky than the Glock systems.

I can't imagine what problem you might run into installing the Apex Tactical trigger into your M&P. There are videos on the install that clearly detail how the install should go.

I'm not personally a fan of a flat trigger on the M&P, but I've installed their FSS in my M&P9 as well as a couple of flatties in M&Ps belonging to friends. I found that the M&P action was easier to understand than the Glock action...but I grew up with the 1911 and the H&K P7

The M&P IMO doesn't gain much, if anything, using the flat face trigger. I ended up putting the FSS in two 9mm compacts. They provide an amazingly light, crisp trigger. For what it's worth neither trigger has ever produced a problem.

I have an APEX enhanced action trigger package on my Gen3 Glock 17, and it has been fantastic, I like the rolling break, much better than stock. Reliability has been 100% and I think that might due to the fact that this setup retains all the stock springs for the striker, trigger return, and firing pin block plunger.

If the APEX trigger setup for the M&P is anywhere near as good as this APEX setup for the Glocks, I wouldn’t hesitate to do this upgrade.

I'm pleased with the apex springs I've done, I never did the complete trigger but if I did I would look at them first.
