Dookie No.1 for both magnified and non-magnified then?
Naw, his for magnified and your "wee-bulls" for the non-magnified. Should have mentioned it earlier...the targets (with rules and scoring) have been added to the opening post.

:)

OK, three rounds for each bull? How many points per round? Only bullseyes count? This is magnified, right?

I may get to the range later today, if I can get answers/

Mav: Sorry, I didn't see that you'd added the info to the original post. Thanks.
NP, sorry it wasn't clear. Figured three rounds would make it a bit more challenging, and still easy enough to score (10+ is a nightmare, 5 would probably be difficult as well)...and from the scores from the previous match, challenging is good.

:)

Mav:

The link for the magnified target comes up as a miniature from a photo bucket site.

Sure does, should have tried it out first. Thanks for letting me know. It has since been fixed, print 100% size.

:)

Absolutly beautiful day to go to the range, sun is shinning, no wind. Loaded up ,drove to the range and it was closed:( Trapshooters are there today. What a letdown

Not trying to be stupid but "3 rounds per bull" means that I am going to shoot three bullets at each target (15 bullets shot at one paper target)?

Yes sir, 15 per sheet. I didn't want to say 3 per target (for fear that someone would only pick three to shoot at), but I suppose 3 per bulls is just as confusing.

:)

Mav...my OCD wouldn't allow me to shoot at a target that wasn't centered and symmetrical...I'll use this one, but you are more than welcome to post it in the main thread.

As long as it is scaled the same, it works for me. I like the formatting...and included rules. You can be the designated, official, senior target modification specialist henceforward. :D

For some reason it was not to scale :banghead:, but I have corrected it and edited the post. :D

You have to double my pay! ;) Not a problem, only took a second.

Now, it's time to go shooting!!! I hope to be able to post some targets this weekend. March got past me, I can't let April do the same. If I'm lucky maybe I can sneak a thunder chicken hunt in as well!

Consider it done...the prize money has also been doubled. ;)

You're hunting T-birds? ...I prefer to hunt Buicks, more of a challenge cause you have to sneak in real close with the big guns. :p

Wind, will it ever stop! Went out to shoot this evening as the wind layed somewhat. Still gusty and hard to read from about 8 O'clock. I only had Two targets and the best came out at 71.

Bull #1 lower shot actually touches the center. #4 is obviously out. And #5 upper left is out.

Unlimited class from a bench. Remington 540X and Wolf Match Target.
Weaver KT-16.

Not bad oldgold, has been a bit windy here too (at least every chance that I get to the range).

:)

Had some friends spend the weekend and we managed to get to the range today. It was windy as hell and my target holder (an old fold up chair with two "paper clips" on the top) wouldn't hold the target still enough to shoot at it. I shot two times. The first was a 34 and the second was a 35. Anyway, lousy scores but at least I tried and got something to post. We did take the shotguns out to play with a bit and got to fire a few golf balls from my SKS grenade launcher <G> so it was a fun day.

I see granpa' came out for the festivities...the sound is not exactly how I would have thought. I figured it would be more of a "bloop" than bang...still a neat little accessory that appears to be a blast. Thanks for sharing.

P.S.: I wouldn't advise embedding a video in a post because it will take a good bit of bandwidth.

:)

It doesn't take any additional bandwidth. It is really nothing more than a link with the opening frame (well, just like going to you tube and seeing 20 videos on the screen - no slow down there at all). Some forum software has the ability to make that "special" kind of post. I'm sure vbulletin does too but THR just doesn't have it set up to do this.

Oh, thought you were talking about directly embedding the video itself (to watch right here)...which would seemingly take a lot of bandwidth. Talk about sloooooow.

:)
