Bear creek uppers

No mine is cut correct, I am up to 1000 rounds now and going to clean it :) not one problem with the upper so far.
I'm glad to hear that BCA finally got the bad extractor groove fixed.

The bad extractor grooves were not safe, especially for us left hand shooters.

I just this week finally got around to topping off a .450 for this coming deer season. Wanting a side charger, I had been watching uppers for a while. Out of stock, in stock. Full price, on sale. Etc., etc. from BCA. I looked at Midway, at their AR Stoner brand. Lo and behold they had what looked to be the exact same upper. The side charger had the exact same shape. An identical forearm. Same flash suppressor. Everything. In stock. AND $30 cheaper.

I would be willing to bet that saved $30 that it was built in the same factory. Or at a minimum, with the same parts.

ETA- No issues with it so far. Perfect function with full power loads. But doesn’t like SubX.

pretty sure BCA does indeed make the midway stuff

It depends on which other forum or website you go to on who actually makes stuff for BCA and MidwayUSA. I found at least two different third party companies that have made barrels for both. I have seen that Moore's Machine Company and Satern have both made barrels for Bear Creek and Midway's AR Stoner line. Rumor also has it that ER Shaw has made barrels for both too.

I've had a couple. They are pretty much what everyone else has said. I will say I bought them for the side charging aspect. They were billet uppers, and when they milled out the channel for the bcg, they left a lot of milling marks that make corduroy pants noise when you cycle it. Like a Ruger American rifle.
