Hey folks, just curious what is the coolest gun any of you have ever fired?

It's a full auto MP5 for me.:D

My great-uncle Ed's everyday carry gun, an 1884 nickel-plated S&W breaktop .38. My father got it after his death and gave it to me a week later.

John

Gustomski Trade Gun. A flash of flame, a clap of thunder, a cloud of smoke and a hunk of lead flying. What's not to like?

Full-auto Tommy gun for an article I was writing. I had the gun and 2000 rounds of ammo for a whole day.

Also, M-16A1, M-60, M2, AT4, S&W M76 subgun (very hard to hold on target), American Arms 180 .22LR subgun with suppressor, Mac11 with suppressor, hand-made (not by me!) .50 BMG falling block rifle, .500 Nitro Express double rifle (not as bad as I thought it would be) and an XP-100 that had been rechambered to a cut-down .458 Win Mag wildcat cartridge.

The suppressed 10/22 was cool, too. Do Claymores count?

1. Gyrojet rifle. Wish I could afford to blast away with one all afternoon.

2. RPG-7.

A 30-40 Krag....has to be one of the most beautiful rifles ever made. It was actually this rifle in the picture. The man firing it here has been the owner of the rifle for over 50 years.

Full auto Thompson.

S&W 500 short barrel with a comp. Cleared my sinuses!!!!

I like the Krag, and the one in that picture truly IS beautiful. It looks like it just came out of the box!

Hmmm, may not be the coolest thing, but definitely something not a whole lot of people know and or have was a Webley .455 revolver.

Full auto Thompson... In Vegas. Does it get any better than full auto in sin city? Me thinks not!

Full-auto SIG PE57 in .308. Kind of a handful, that. After that, a fella's tricked out 6.5 Swede.

The coolest, I have to agree with you on the full auto MP5 the one I shot was silenced not trying to one up you but it was.

I shot a full auto M16 which was cool. I was surprised about how controllable it was. Very easy to keep on target at 50 yards. I wouldn't want one though, for all the cost and trouble.

At the time I shot it, I think the coolest gun I ever shot was an M1 Garand. A guy at the range let me shoot his way back when, and then I was hooked. I think I was grinning all day. He let me shoot his M1 Carbine the same day. That was cool too. Now I own one of each. :)
