Or how our public officials are such good stewards of our taxes
The other day at lunch I was driving down the street. I hear loud noises and look up. Cop on top of donut shop is using bull horn to talk to traffic passing by. Can't understand anything he is saying but can hear noise. I look a little closer. There are FIVE uniformed cops on the roof of the donut shop, along with a similar number of cop looking people not in uniform. There are three marked squad cars in the parking lot, along with two cop motorcycles, plus a few unmarked cars in the lot that were parked in an odd way that made me suspect they were also cop cars. Also, local TV station is broadcasting from the donut shop parking lot.
There is a banner hanging from the roof of the donut shop. It says cop on top on it, and something about some charity. I guess it was some publicity stunt for a cop sponsored charity.
I have to wonder what having ten cops stand on top of a donut shop for several hours cost us taxpayers?
