This one passed through a raccoon and about 3-feet of forest floor were it was recovered, 100% weight retention.
I took a Texas heart shot on an armadillo with this same 450 BM round, in just above the tail, out past the left ear. Split all nine bands of that nine banded armadillo!
300 BO subsonic, 220gr Maker REX

This bullet passed through a larger armadillo with a broad side hit. Bullet was found laying on the dirt just behind the armadillo after pulverizing a softball size chunk of chert imbedded in the 4x4 trail he was shot on. 100% weight retention.

Even though launched at subsonic velocities the REX bullet expands fully in the distance of just the width of a 12oz Gatorade bottle full of water. The exist looked like a dull broad head was shot through the bottle. 100% weight retention.
I am a fan of all copper bullets, they are tough and when launched at the right velocities do wonderful things on the terminal end.
