I doubt that it has any collector value whatsoever, but I do wish him the best of luck.

That's where I'm at. There is very little collectable value to a '69 Chevelle 454 that's been completely totalled... this rifle is the same thing. Granted, it's a curiosity, and personally wonder if Remington wouldn't want it to at least examine... although they are likely completely hands off because it was a reloaded cartridge. I don't really know if I would want a blown up rifle hanging around my house... seems like bad juju.
