Be patient...

1k profound apologies for everyone being 'in the dark'. There's not some super secret squirrel conspiracy or "behind the scenes" sh^^tuff going on, it's just been really busy.

Here's how the breakdown has occurred. If you look back at the previous few entries in the timeline
www.bighammer.net/timeline.html

after the denial we submitted a FOIA via DOI. They get 20 business days to respond. They didn't, we appealed. I contacted my rep as well as the DOI FOIA office. Both my rep's office and I confirmed with DOI that they received my initial FOIA.

Then, for reasons unknown, they denied our FOIA Appeal of their denial because they proclaimed "you can't prove we ever got your FOIA" (read it).

What is supposed to happen, confirmed again by my Rep's office and me, is DOI receives the FOIA and the clock starts. If the info is held by a child agency, it's forwarded to them (NPS). They claim that didn't happen.

I'm still undetermined what we need to do about that, it's probably different actors, and I have bigger fish to fry than some anti-gun FOIA person. I'm sure the rest of the petitioners do to. The latest response in the timeline is from NPS that they want confirmation that we will pay for the FOIA search, which I am personally planning on responding to... Hopefully today.

So, has anyone been in touch with NRA-ILA and asked for more than their alleged "behind the scenes" help?
