Since a trigger happy mod locked the thread before I could get time to dig up the regs, here's a couple FAA regs about arming aircraft. I'm not gonna copy the whole regs, you can look them up and read if you like.
Operating a drone that has a dangerous weapon attached to it is a violation of Section 363 of the 2018 FAA Reauthorization Act
While there is not a specific FAA reg about mounting guns to full sized aircraft, it is already addressed under 14 CFR part 43. Any alteration of a certified aircraft requires inspection and certification by FAA. Or it could be certified as a restricted experimental aircraft, which means it could only be flown at specific times or special events under special permits. ( good luck getting an FAA inspector to sign off on either).
