Well now that makes sense. Thanks.Weapon Mounted Light
We went from a shooter having trouble with his finger rubbing the trigger guard to bashing Glocks in less then two pages. For this to happen all you need to the word Glock to be in the title of your topic.I retract my earlier statement about this not being a Glock bashing thread.
Gunny, you express that sentiment fairly often. Let me just ask you, why is it always okay to say good things about a product but not bad? You don't mention that just putting Glock in the title will bring out the fanboys in under a page. If you had two pages of glowing reviews of the Glock, no one would say that was out of line. But criticism of it is wrong? Why is that? You frequently tell folks who don't like Glocks to keep the negative thoughts to themselves and just don't buy them. I never hear you or anyone else say if you like Glocks, just keep it to yourself and buy as many as you want. Why is it okay to praise them but not okay to pan them? Aren't both opinions just as valid? We went from a shooter having trouble with his finger rubbing the trigger guard to bashing Glocks in less then two pages. I think it's pretty Low Road that the Glock haters feel that they need to do this.
I have no problem with someone stating something negative about Glocks. It's just that any topic on a Glock becomes a bashing by the haters. This topic was not about how good or bad Glocks are, or about if you like Glocks are not. It's about the trouble the OP is having with his finger rubbing on the trigger guard. So all the Glock bashing is really uncalled for.Gunny, you express that sentiment fairly often. Let me just ask you, why is it always okay to say good things about a product but not bad? Well said. You taught me something.I have no problem with someone stating something negative about Glocks. It's just that any topic on a Glock becomes a bashing by the haters. Just have a look at the topic on the Sig 365 vs the Glock 43. The topic is which do you prefer and why. There are a lot of replies both positive and negative on both guns and then there is the bashing by the haters.
Now if someone was to say that they had the same problem with their finger rubbing on the Glock trigger guard, but didn't have the problem with other guns, and this was the reason he didn't like Glocks. That is not negative, that is someone adding to a topic.
But go read all the topics on Glocks. You will find the same few people that have to let us know that they don't like Glocks. And they don't just post once. They continue until the topic is so far of topic that it has noting to with the original topic.
I like Glocks. I have one on my side right now. It's a Gen 4 G17 that my dept issued to me. I wish they issued the S&W M&P because it fits my hand better and I shoot it a little better then the Glock. But I have two G19s because I like them better then the M&P compact.
Never would have thought of that. Funny, I've used that stuff for control surface hinges on indoor model airplanes.Try 3M Blenderm surgical tape on your finger. It's amazing stuff.

Saw him on You Tube. Wondered why he was running a light during the day. Duh!Robert Vogel = Likely the best Glock shooter in the world. With countless titles under his belt. Runs a hollowed out WML filled with lead to keep up in Limited. The USPSA class that Zero alluded too.
It would be great if there opinion had something to do with the topic. It's like some of these people hunt for topics with Glocks in them just to do some Trolling. There are guns I don't like and some I don't care for, but I don't go to topics on them just to express my opinion. If I have something to add to the topic, I'll post. For some reason Glocks are polarizing. I have no idea why. It’s almost as if the things had “make America great again” printed on the slide. Don’t let it get you down. It’s just people expressing their opinions. Everyone is entitled to their opinion.
Into every thread a little drift must fall.
I thought we were supposed to be staying on topic.I'd be ok with it, if it was constructive, and from someone that actually has mastered the pistol.
Instead it's just the same old amateur nonsense. And the weak sauce arguments to support the amateurs point of view. Nothing useful.

I love it. Should I gamble and use my CZ, or play it safe with my Glock?
I had a Walther PPSM2 that did what your Glock is doing if I understand it properly. My finger was getting pinched between the tip of the trigger and the bottom of the trigger guard. I studied it for a while one night and saw that there was no space between the tip and the trigger guard, so I took a Dremel tool and buffed a little space under the trigger and then polished it with 2000 grit sand paper. Never bothered me again. Empty the gun and pull the trigger back and look to see if this is the solution.Specifacally forbidden is non-stock parts. Don't think they'd mind some contouring of the trigger or guard. Then again I'm not very high on the score list so no ones going to check my gun unless it blatantly obvious... Like a flat trigger.
The only thing stopping me from removing some material below the trigger is I'm unsure if it will work.
