Help me understand why I suck with this Glock 22

9mm barrel maybe a little better. 10 shots first, then 17 more, trying to concentrate on trigger finger on the seam of first joint, push-pull grip.

Not sure. I couldn’t see my impacts with the lighting and the black target. I know that the 8 was like shot 3 or 4 because I could see that hole.

I remember one time I had a G29 and it would shoot good but tried some plated in it one day and it was terrible but in a more traditionally rifled barrel, it was fine, so perhaps that bullet and your G22 don't get along, it happens. You may already do it, but before you shoot live rounds, sit and dry fire at the target for a bit to get the feel of the trigger down pat instead of going at it cold turkey. I recommend a firm grip (think firm handshake), too tight can be just as bad as too loose. You're accustomed to Glocks it seems, just I'd recommend just dry firing a bit at the target first, firm grip with a slight push from the strong hand and slight pull from the support hand and always bring back the trigger to the trigger wall (short reset point) before firing. Looks like from earlier posts it shoots factory ammo pretty well.

OP is a match shooter capable of accurate groups using different pistols and factory ammunition/reloads.

I think these two targets may be very telling as to what could be happening where rested shooting produced POI at POA horizontally, but standing offhand produced POI deviation to left of POA (Using same pistol and ammunition, so apparently there is no issue with pistol) and why I have been working with OP to address shooter input on trigger/grip - https://www.thehighroad.org/index.p...ith-this-glock-22.861829/page-4#post-11357272
