I can not clearly focus on the Magpul Flip-up Polymer AR front sight. It remains fuzzy and is too coarse for me.
I use homemade target that I have drawn 1" squares on with a black 4" square bullseye. This target works well for my other long guns as it lets me adjust my sight exactly wear the I want my groups to print. The Magpul blade covers 4" at 25 yards making sighting difficult. I made up targets with 6" black square but I am still having trouble.
I do not problems focusing on the metal front sight post on the military style Tower Sight. I don't know why except the corners of the metal post are sharper and more distinct.
I use the aperture rear sight blade not only on my AR's but other rifles as well and don't have any problems getting good groups. Just must be something about my eyesight. So I am asking for suggestions for a metal folding front sight. It only needs to be adjustable for elevation. I am willing to buy a front and rear combo set.
