I have the ugliest gun ever

Rude

That would upset me if a stranger walked up to me and called my gun ugly, if it was a Taurus or a hi point I'd understand. I don't see the reasoning behind people thinking glocks are ugly. It's a simplistic design that works, and it's foolish to choose looks over function with a tool that you might depend on saving your own life some day.

That guy was twice your age and didn't know whata glock was?.....RIIIIIIIGHT!.....He suckered you into having to defend your purchase. What an ass!

Hey I had a sharpai, thought those were the cutest dogs I ever saw in 1983, Then I saw an bought the glock about ten years after, so you can't go by me. Cars are different, but dogs and guns are pretty individual.

D*mn Ben86. I never knew a 1911 could be that ugly. Tell me it's photoshopped.

I'm pretty sure that abomination is real, I found it on another forum in a thread about a guy complaining that someone he knows (I personally would disown the guy) that had the temerity to do that to the gun. Even if he put a picture of Reagan instead of Hillary those Christmas colors look absolutely absurd unless it was Santa Claus's sidearm. By far the worst custom job ever. It was probably done as an ironic joke since Hillary is anti-gun, not in admiration, I hope. It would be so funny if someone mailed that to her, for Christmas.

Your Glock 17 RTF2 IS the ugliest gun ever...but only because it is bigger than my Glock 19 RTF2. You just have more ugly, that's all!

:neener:

i just call them exotic

Seriously?! :scrutiny:

I own one and I wouldn't call it exotic. Ferrari's are exotic...glocks are...well, they go bang every time in spite of their ugliness...they're just glocks. :D

When I posted this I never thought it would make 3 pages. Being new to guns I can't look and a gun and go oh that's brand X. I can with some like a Buck Mark or a Ruger mark III. When I bought my Glock I went and said I want a 9mm, I have this much to spend inclueding some ammo, let's hold some guns. I also told the guy I didn't want him to tell me brands at first. I wanted to go totally off of feel. I narrowed it down to the 3 guns that felt the best and he told me about each gun. When he said I could have the Glock for $300 and some change I said sold. I'm not going to buy a gun for looks. I am going after feel and shooting straight. Keep posting folks this is fun.

I just wonder how it's possible that someone at any range this day and age didn't recognize a Glock pistol that has remained nearly unchanged in the last thirty or so years...

I love it when people don't read a thread. I have said this three times now. He knew it was a Glock, he had never seen a RTF2 before. Heck there is a thread on this site where people asked for three pages what a RTF2 is and they couldn't find it on google. Why would a guy at the range be expected to know what one is? The fish scales on the side is what made him take a second look at it.
