I often go into Dicks then on through and out into the mall to go shopping. And back in on the return trip to the car. Seems there is plenty of parking out front Dicks while the other entrances are choked with people and their vehicles. I agree, the scenery on the way through sometimes is down rite spectacular but for me it is just a heated hallway to the store I am going to..

I am a loyal Dick’s customer. Every two or three months I get them to fill my 20 oz. CO_2 tank for our fizzwater-maker. I’m sure that since that’s supporting the evil paintball-industrial complex they’ll discontinue tank filling pretty soon. That one’s gun section has been shrinking apace. They hardly even have any knives anymore.

The last time I went to Dicks wss when the wife wanted some work out clothes, and I got a great close-out deal on some fishing tackle. The guns/hunting/camping section was starting to get barren and the prices were higher than Bass Pro Shops down the road. I have very little reason to go back there again.

Recently went to Dick's looking for a shirt. I picked up a couple bike items then wandered to the fishing department. Didn't see what I wanted, salesman said "Come back after xx/xx/xxxx, all that gun stuff will be gone and full of fishing gear.

I told him, "You realize I won't be back?" while setting my two items randomly down on a nearby self.

He said, "Yeah, hearing that a lot. I don't blame you. They just won't listen."
