well do you have one now? cause you should! We went to the store so I could buy dies for a new rifle. When I was walking to the counter my wife stopped me because she saw a lever action 12 gauge and wanted it because we don't have one yet.
I think I turned my wife into a gun nut.
I consider it a win. She didn't want to shoot guns before we started dating. Now it's a joint effort.Bfh_auto
I take it this is an admission to your doing something good and not a complaint of some sort!
I would love for my wife to be even a bit more of a gun enthusiast. For the time being she's just along for the ride.
Anything designed by J M Browning is worthy of buying."Lever action" and "shotgun" are two terms that don't go together. IMO.
No but her birthday is coming up.Its good to have someone to share your hobby with. Did you buy it? (the shotgun)
So, what I am hearing is, next time, you need to have HER pick up the powder...If I'm looking for some powder or other item and I take my wife to the gun store she always wanders away from me and next thing I know there she is at the gun counter paying for a gun and filling out the paper work.
That sounds familiar...My wife has no interest in guns.
This summer we were at a friends place shooting some clays, she wanders up, picks up an o/u 12 bore, calls 'Pull!' and smokes 2 clays with two shots. Turns and walks away without saying a word.
I appreciate the fact that my wife carries and will protect herself and me "at all cost" if necessary. I carry too, but one never knows when a situation might come up where second good person with a gun would be helpful. Besides that, my wife and me are not always together. But that doesn't matter too much as she's always been able to outshoot me with a handgun anyway. My wife does appreciate the fact that I carry and will protect her at all cost and that's not bad!
Good job!I think I turned my wife into a gun nut.
