I think I turned my wife into a gun nut.

We went to the store so I could buy dies for a new rifle. When I was walking to the counter my wife stopped me because she saw a lever action 12 gauge and wanted it because we don't have one yet.
well do you have one now? cause you should!

congrats! We go to a gun store and my wife watches ME very closely, not so much anything else.....

I think I turned my wife into a gun nut.

I take it this is an admission to your doing something good and not a complaint of some sort!

I would love for my wife to be even a bit more of a gun enthusiast. For the time being she's just along for the ride.

I consider it a win. She didn't want to shoot guns before we started dating. Now it's a joint effort.

My wife didn't care one way or the other when we met. Bought her a Taurus PT-22 for her first gun (she picked it out). Neither of us could hit anything with it, but she was hooked. Numerous trades, getting to try different things, and she has settled with her each-piece-hand-picked-by-her AR, and a Springfield XD-S in .40. She says those two will do anything she needs (she has absolutely no interest in hunting, which is fine, sometimes I need the break ;)). Of course, she keeps grabbing my S&W M&P FS .40 every time we go to the range, so she might be the next user of "just one more"...

My wife has 2 pistols, 1 shotgun, and a CCW permit and refuses to use ANY of them. I may get her to fire her .22 pistol once a year. She will burn up 3-500 rounds at that session but only once a year.

I built my wife an AR, she shot expert in the USMC with it. She also carries an LCR but I cannot get her to be interested in anything else. Your wife must be a keeper, not that mine isint.

I thought my wife was starting to have potential last weekend. We were at a hardware store getting paint, and while we were getting it mixed I took my daughter to the back where they do gun sales. I wanted her to handle an M&P Compact 22 to see if it fits her because I’m thinking of getting her something lighter than my Buckmark and Mark I.

Well, my wife tracks us down and makes a huge loud deal in front of the gun counter saying “You’ve NEVER taken ME to a gun store and asked if there’s any guns that I like!!!!”

I said “Here’s the spread. If there’s anything in the counter you like we’ll buy it tonight. Heck, next weekend we’ll go visit every gun store in the city and get you anything you want!”

She responded that she didn’t want a gun, she just wanted me to ask her if she wanted one.

Women. Go figure.

My wife has absolutely no interest in guns. Once a long time ago she said she didn't want any guns in the house and I told her that she had a choice, endure my guns without comment or there won't be a wife in the house. She is still here and there are a bunch of guns in our home.

It would be great if all wives were gun nuts and loved to play golf (or whatever your favorite sport is). However, that's not the case and probably never will be. My wife does appreciate the fact that I carry and will protect her at all cost and that's not bad!

I appreciate the fact that my wife carries and will protect herself and me "at all cost" if necessary. I carry too, but one never knows when a situation might come up where second good person with a gun would be helpful. Besides that, my wife and me are not always together. But that doesn't matter too much as she's always been able to outshoot me with a handgun anyway.:)
