I know this is dumm, but in an event the US is under heavy attack, the militaries are almost detroyed or they cannot cover the whole continental US anymore. The goverment asks for civilians help, every civilian with a weapon must repell the enemy. Since all those antiguns, and antigun laws, and bans where for several years, and thanks to all those gun haters, there arent really enough weapons for every citizen, so you can only choose 2 weapons. A secondary one, handgun and your main weapon, rifle, shotgun etc.

I would trust a Walther P99 9 mm parabellum as my secondary weapon.
