Mine stayed in its Standard Issue configuration for many years. I have started sprucing it up a bit, though.

Spats, you may have started a new trend by showing off your kitchen utensils rather than including some random knife in your firearm photos. Nice touch!

On a more serious note, that's the beauty of a 10-22, they are great right out of the box or customized, whatever tickles your fancy.

The ol lady has a 50th anniv standard in blued/grey lam. Volq hammer and Bushnell TRS25
I have a 95 model, standard (birch?) blued......NIB.
Taking it to a shop to consign.

For me, the fingergroove (orig sporter) is the stock for me.
Have had 3 of em, plus a regular DSP, an RSI, 2 walnut standards and 3 birch.

I got this NIB to put a FG stock on and a GM sporter 20". But.........no stocks reasonable (URS used to make a copy).
and if I had one made custom, I'd proly trip in the woods and put a nasty smack on it.
So synth is the way. And IIRC McMillan makes a stock similar.........for 600?

Eh, I'll not build a custom.

My hunting bud has his birch standard from high school. Its got a cool patina to it. Weaver Marksman 4x.
Still heck on red squirrels.

I don’t have a pic, my 10/22 from 1978 was handed down recently. Great rifle that served me for many decades and was my last .22. What started my new rifle quest. Great rifles that I consider a must have. When the pandemic hit and all my non shooting friends sought my advice on a first gun it was off to the LGS for a 10/22 I took them. My local LGS loved me.

Here's my Franken-10/22; a collection of parts from Shaw, Power Custom, Brownells, Ruger and Timney, with a Bell & Carlson stock. It was cobbled together specifically for a rimfire silhouette match that I regularly compete in. I always enjoy taking this one out...

I've got one or two. Some of these have been reconfigured but as far as I can remember, they're all different guns. Also have a couple more Chargers that haven't yet been utilized.

Something about that laminated charger makes me think I need one:)

10-22 is/was my grandparents' wedding anniversary... Today would have been 67 years. Gramps passed in 2004 and Grandma in 2015.

This was one of his, an old model with metal trigger housing and buttplate. I sanded off the stock finish to reveal a beautiful piece of walnut and finished with danish oil and wax. Barrel is a shaw fluted sporter contour and the scope is an old Redfield WideView.

10/22 Collector #3 came with factory modular stock, ghost ring sights and Picatinny scope rail. After 6500 rounds, it's still producing around 1/2" groups with CCI SV and 3/4" groups with Aguila at 50 yards - https://www.thehighroad.org/index.p...t-shipped-pricing.902560/page-5#post-12304852

T/CR22, 10/22 clone with enhanced parts and factory Magpul stock has insert that is removed to accommodate bull barrel.
