You guys have seen this one before: 1984, all factory save the Burris 4x scope, mag release, Tru oil finish and sling.

I only have 3

A 1978 blue, birch stock, factory iron sights
A 1984 blue, birch stock, Tasco 3-9x40 wide-view
A 50th Anniv, blue, synthetic with RDS.

All 3 work flawless with BX-25 metal lip, nannermags.

Is there a reliable Ruger 'nanner clip? A friend says even their own 25 shot is not very good.
The Rugers are very good but I still the the Tactical Inc. mags are the best.

That's a real looker with some real nice walnut! Definitely getting style points for my favorite Burris rifle scope. Too bad they stopped making them.

Thanks, I heard mention of a 'nanner clip that was screw adjustable to fit the individual rifle, looks like this is it.
Now if they just had some to sell.
Tactical Inc's is the one that is adjustable. I haven't seen them in stock for a while now. Glad I have several. The ones from Hightower Armory are pretty good.

Compact model on Blackhawk Axium stock
Mossy Oak all camo carbine
LVT - blued with a massive 60mm objective scope
Charger - may go form 1 with Choate folding stock on this one
Ruger Precision Rimfire - gets dragged to the range more than the 10/22 collection

Will try to add some photos when I get home.

I threw away all the Ramline and Eagle mags I had. The BX25 and BX25x2 work fine in all of mine, but certain ammo can be problematic. CCI, Blazer/Federal are usually flawless, Thunder duds and Wildcats seem to have the most failure to fire/feed in mine.

Both of my 10/22s run on just about any mag but pro-mag. One is a stainless model from around 2004 and the other is old enough to have a metal buttplate on a walnut stock.

Mags i have run with reliable (for plinking, not combat) success: factory rotary 10s, clear factory rotary 10, BX-25, butler creek 25rnd hot and steel lips, eagle 10 rnd, champion double stack 30 rnd. I wore one eagle and the champion completely out. The other eagle still works, but is a good bit worn.

The only rifle caliber the WAC club allows to be shot off hand are rimfires.
I like standing to shoot my Ruger All Weather 10-22
