kel-tec su-16ca vs ruger mini-30?

I too am in So Cal and I decided on the Newer more accurate mini-14 and the Springfield M1A Loaded Standard for the larger round very accurate. I decided to spend 2X more on the M1A instead of a mini-30. It too is much more accurate than the older ones with lighter thinner barrels. Between the two you are looking a I would get the mini-30. Why? because they can be dressed up with just about anything you want, Cluster rails light's scopes lasers barrel mounts, and folding stocks etc. Check out the sites below for add ons:

Mini is a rifle.

What a joke. The mini14 makes an AK look accurate. Total POS. I would looks for an SKS long before a minimal14.
