this looked painful. sweet weapon though.

Yeah, I felt sorry for that poor schmuck the first time I saw that video, what they didn't show was them helping the guy get his shoulder back into socket. Ouchies. 2 3/4" is all I need.

I just told the wifey that the MSAR stg556 I have on layaway is the last gun I'm buying for a while. How do I break it to her that just changed?

Out of curiosity, I got out the kitchen scale and loaded it up with seven 00 buckshot loads and seven rifled slugs. The total weight came out to just under 21 ounces. That's actually a little less than I expected.

whats the other shot gun similar to this on that also is not out yet? cant remember company name. It was brought up in this thread and i can't find it.

Since the UTS 15 is manufactured in Turkey & marketed as a combat shotgun there is no "sporting use" and therefore can't be imported.

Yep,

Just got home late last night. I'll be back in the office on Tuesday.

All the KSG's at SHOT were prototypes. The one in the Law enforcement booth was setup to slam-fire, and also had a different pump lock switch. But that does not mean it was a Law enforcement "feature" (probably just a communication misunderstanding since it was in the law-enforcement area).

One of the reasons we go to these shows and show off new designs months before they go into production is to get a WHOLE LOT of user feedback, from those in the industry....and we got plenty of it. By the third and fourth day we were allready telling people that the trigger will function differently than it was in the guns at SHOT they were playing with.

The trigger reset issue will get "fixed", and the pump lock switch will be easier to get to (like on the KSG in the LE booth). But there are more improvements that will likely make it into the production models as well. (I'll post some more info Tuesday or Wednesday)

hhhhhhhhhhhhh

Ready for the neighborhood.

Alternate buck/ball on the one side; beanbags (LTL rounds) in the other. Maybe a few flare/tracer rounds available. Dao.

For everyone suggesting lethal rounds in one tube and less-lethal (not less than lethal) rounds in the other tube, that is a horrible idea.

We have enough accidents already with LEO's grabbing for their tasers and getting their pistol by mistake and accidentally shooting someone. Do we really want them trying to remember if the beanbags are loaded in the left or right tube under stress? Remembering which type is in the chamber?

There is a reason responsible police departments have designated less-lethal shotguns, usually painted bright orange, so that there is virtually no chance of a mixup.
