Since 9mm bullets are not to be found, I went back to casting 9mm 124gr SWC with either Alox lube or coated powder bullets. Problem is in the newer powder manuals I can't find my old recipes for using Power Pistol. Any Suggestions?

Lyman #49 lists the following:
  • 9mm 120 gr Lead SWC Power Pistol OAL 1.110" Start 5.1 gr (1124 fps) - Max 5.7 gr (1209 fps)
  • 9mm 120 gr Lead RN Power Pistol OAL 1.065" Start 5.0 gr (1107 fps) - Max 5.6 gr (1190 fps)
Since cast lead bullet weight can vary by a few grains (especially when you add the weight of lube, it should be closer to 124 gr), I would reference Lyman lead load data for your cast bullets.

And here's Speer Gold Dot HP/TMJ load data - https://reloading-data.speer-ammo.c...m_caliber_355-366_dia/9mm_Luger__124_rev1.pdf
  • 9mm 124 gr Speer GDHP Power Pistol COL 1.120" Start 5.6 gr (1033 fps) - Max 6.4 gr (1157 fps)
  • 9mm 124 gr Speer TMJ Power Pistol COL 1.135" Start 5.6 gr (1033 fps) - Max 6.4 gr (1157 fps)
"Another 10%" reduction would decrease Speer published start charge down to 5.0 gr, in line with Lyman load data and I would use 5.0 gr as my start charge for cast 124 gr SWC.
