I recently took delivery of a NIB, 3rd generation Glock 17. (BTW, is it a "M17" or "G17?")
I also bought two boxes of WW ammo from wally.
Anyway, I took it to the range today. I didn't know what to expect.
I'd always heard Glock is bad. They blow up, etc. I'd also heard WW white ammo from wally world is bad. It blows up, etc.
Bad gun + bad ammo? I half expected the devil himself to pop out.
At the least I envisioned myself walking around with a Glock slide sticking out of my forehead.
So I was extremely surprised to discover my 17 is one of the sweetest, mildest, accurate and fun guns I've ever shot. The trigger pull is great: smooth, crisp and predictable. No jams. No malfunctions. Period.
My new Combat Commander? Kept locking open prematurely. (No Colt bashing, please. I love my Colts.)
My 5 screw M-27 3.5 inch barrel Smith? Heck, I even managed to get a bullet stuck in the barrel! (Reloads.)
But the Glock was perfect. I love it.
Consider me a Glock fan. It's definately gonna be one of my favorites.
