I think what that is telling us is that the American pistol has been a commercial failure. I seems to be more rugged and professional grade than the SR but it hasn't led to increased sales. The SR still outsells the American by a wide margin.

As I said before, there are more SRs and Glocks out in the public. 5he RAP has only been out on the market for about 1 1/2 years. From a selling point, it makes more sense to offer to the majority.

For keeping a review extra credible and minimizing possible shortcomings caused by optics it's a good idea to use quality glass. On the other hand I'm once bitten twice shy with scope quality and reliability and don't see the $[scope] > $[gun] equation unthinkable at all.

I'm guessing the optic isn't his, as he is given tester guns like some other popular YouTube shooting personalities receive.

I could be wrong, though. He might own it and move it from gun to gun.
