Versatility !

Handgun: S&W 357 magnum (38spc +p) 4" barrel

Shotgun: Remington 12gauge with interchangable barrels

Rifle: Remington 700 chambered for 308win

Versatility !
The above would cover my needs.
But would liike to add a good 22 Long Rifle bolt action though. :(

Handgun: Raven .25 or Phoenix Arms HP22 - can't decide for sure which one.

Shotgun: Stoeger double barrel coach gun or Noble pump gun - ::sigh:: ...choices.

Rifle: French 8mm Lebel carbine or Italian Carcano - another difficult decision.

I'm feeling traditional

Colt SAA-45 colt

Winchester 73-44 wcf

Remington 1889- 10 bore

Only One? that's too hard. but if i had to choose, i would probably go with.....

Pistol: 1911 in .45 ACP.

Shotgun: My Mossberg 500 with both barrels seems to fit the bill.

Rifle: This one is the hardest for me. I would want my Remington 7400 in 30-06 for hunting purposes. but i also would also want a AR-15 or AK-47 for just shooting for fun. I guess if i could only pick one i'd take an AR chambered in .308 so i could still hunt with it. (.223 isn't legal for big game in MN)

Rifle:
AR15 because of the ability to have multiple uppers:
22lr for plinking
5.56 for varmits
6.8 for medium game
6.5 for long distance
458 Socom for bigger critters

Pistol:
EAA Witness 10mm because of the ability to swap slides and mags for caliber conversion to the most common calibers

Shotgun:
Remington 870 12 gauge

Well, if I'm choosing from guns I currently own:
Handgun:my 1911 Firestorm .45acp
Rifle:my Winchester model 70xtr 30-06
Shotgun:my Remmington 1100 (mainly because of reliability and versatility with my screw in chokes and an extra slug barrel.)

If we're dreamin or makin a wish list:
Handgun:totally hand made and assembled custom job 1911...Les Baer maybe, hard to say as I have no real experiance with "high end" guns of any sort, other than a couple "higher end" ones I inherited.
Rifle:whatever the nicest bolt 30-06 is....
Shotgun:probly just a fancy, nicer looking gun simalar to the 1100, for the same reasons as above, I'd just pick one that was all ingraved and inlayed and such.

Man, I'm really bad at the "fantasy" part, as I know so little about what the "fanciest", "most expensive" or "top of the line" guns even are, as I know I will never have them, and can't complain about a single gun I DO have. Kinda depressing, I guess....I have no real gun fantasy life....I need more magazine subscriptions or something...:)

Rifle&shotgun - M4A1 Sopmod II kit with XM26 "masterkey", or M16A4 with same accessories.
Handgun - this is tough. If to consider the availability of ammo, the Medusa  would be good. If not then FN 57.

Handgun - .44 Special (Got it)
Shotgun - Mossberg 835 (Got it, need slug barrel)
Rifle - M1A (Got it)

Hope my wife dosen't see this. I have to convince her I NEED a Shiloh Sharps.

Dave

Handgun: 1911
Shotgun Rem 870
Rifle AR15

and of course, the inevetable "cheats" in that I can get .22lr conversions for the 191 and AR, so I can shoot .22 out of those frames/recievers. Also I'd want to pick up other various sized uppers for the AR as well.

Well, I'd be mainly going for utility, and assuming that .22LR pistols and rifles do not count for either category (they're like a toaster - every family should have at least one, and don't fit into the 'appliance' definition), my picks would be:

- AK47 - cartridge decent enough to take out most anything I'd need it to, in a dependable platform, which will last long enough to give to my grandchildren, even with thorough use
- An "Patrol" pump shotgun with side-folding stock and decent sights (so it oculd be employed for ranged shooting if needbe).
- Springer "Loaded" 1911 or any similar design - any of good metallurgy with decent sights and no front slide serrations: because I like them, the most easily worked on in terms of available parts and expertise, and they're better than Glocks.

Model 586 S&W .357 revolver
Marlin 336 30-30
12 Gauge Remington 870 w/ multiple barrels

Handgun: 1911

Shotgun: 870

Rifle: Whitfeather Sniper M1A

Same chioces I put up every poll. I have the first two, might be a while on the third.

PISTOL: SA XD45 + more mags
SHOTGUN: Mossy 500 + 2nd barrel + optional pistol grip
RIFLE: Weatherby 7mm Mag w/4X12 or 6X20 scope

got em now except need better scope on Weatherby.:)

rifle - 30-30 (best for the south)
shotgun - Remy 870 Magnum express (protection and killin birds and such)
pistol - tough one here since I'd want a .22 for taking small game for food but also would want a .45 for close in protection. I guess I'd take a .45 with a .22 conversion kit.
