Looks good and noisy to me.

I really like the ACT trigger for a mil-spec style single-stage trigger, for the price its hard to beat.

I have also used KAK mini flash can on my 300 BO until I got my suppressor and it was good for the money.

That pistol brace looks really cool but that price tag... I just used a standard buffer tube and a SBA3 pistol brace.

Loud and fireballs is what I'm looking for lol. I also love the ACT trigger, this will be my fourth one. While I agree with you on the SBA3, this is a build I'm helping a buddy put together and he specifically wants that expensive Maxim brace. All good with me haha. Thanks for the advice.

What are we checking for?

If you’re trying to be sure you have everything, this is an example of the bill of materials I use when building AR-15’s. Noting - I don’t buy stripped carriers, so I lump them as an assy, rather than individual parts (in my 20+ years of building custom AR’s, it has never saved money to build the carrier. Repairs/replacements are only reason I buy individual carrier components). I also move and group components when purchased as “kits,” such as LPK’s.

If you can check off all of these boxes with your parts list, you’ll have a complete rifle. If not, you won’t.

The brace is awesome, I've got their PDW version.

The only thing I'd look at changing is going for an AGB, now, so when you realize how loud it is and go for a supressor, you'll be all set.

And I didn't see a BCG listed. 3 places I normally spend money when building; BCG, Barrel and trigger.

Good list. I have been sitting on a LPK I ordered back in November and finally started building a pistol lower. They forgot the bolt catch roll pin and sent the wrong bolt catch spring. Always a good idea to inventory parts when you get them. Thankfully Midway sent me the pin and I fit the spring myself.

I just helped my uncle with a build, we also had a check list of all the parts and pieces he was going to use. He insisted on the $300 Cryptic Bolt Carrier Group and Geissele SD-C. I told him he could save $400+ on the build and still have all the reliability and function if we could augment those two things on the list but just as well.

I was 100% on board for the Geissele but $300 on a BCG, yikes.... oh well, it definitely was a very nice very smooth BCG

One thing seems to be missing here. In the Lower Assy I dont see the Bolt Stop Roll Pin listed. I went over it twice, maybe just not seeing it? I have always been lucky and had all the parts I needed when the time came to build. There must be nothing worse than getting headlong into a lower build and having to pause for a week while waiting on a roll pin.....

I'd go with the Aero Atlas R-One over the S-One. I bought an S-One for my build and returned it, it was just too small, and the short rail section at the front was short enough that my flip up sights hung off when folded. The R-One has a full top rail, and would have been my pick had they offered it at the time.
That being said, if you're going for a slim, low snag handguard, you've got it.
