Not only is it my favorite 10mm......it's my only 10mm.:)

Originally marketed in Europe under Peter Stahls, these were imported by Springfield Armory as the Omega. It's one of only 15 three barrels sets (38 Super, 45 ACP, 10mm) to come from SA before being dropped because of patent infringement legallities.

Just ordered this at 10% off and no sales tax on base. Should arrive in 3 to 4 days. So I can see how some people that have to wait a grace period in other states feel. It sucks but can't wait to shoot it. Now I need to order dies brass and bullets for reload. Am excited to try it out. I wanted the Kodiak but they were not available.

Rolling some 180’s with Blue Dot for now. LGS didn’t have any 200’s in XTP on the shelf. I used 200’s with 800X in the past with great results. Will give AA#9 a chance since I’m gonna work up some .357 Mag loads with that powder shortly.
I’m quickly coming to the conclusion that AA#9 will be my magnum powder for everything from 357 to 460 magnum. It’s great in 10mm.

I've been meaning to do that as well, I normally use H110 for my magnum and .300 BLK loads, but AA is easier for me to source locally at Fleet Farm.

I was just looking at my bucket of cleaned and primed 10mm and .357 mag brass and thinking I need to order more bullets and get those loaded.

I'm trying that in .357 Mag with 135gr Speer GDHP along with 2400 out of a 2" Taurus 617 at the time. Will see how they perform this weekend.
You know I tried H110 this past summer in 357 and didn’t find it particularly efficient. I was using 158 gr platted bullets and max loads and what I got was lower than expected velocity and a lot of muzzle flash from a 6” barrel. Maybe it’s the wrong bullet, and I think I might have an excessive barrel cylinder gap coming into play, but It soured me on H110 in that cartridge.

Looking to try 2400, but I can never find it locally. AA#9 on the other hand flows like water here.

And it works so nicely with 180 gr 10mm loads. I can easily rev up those to 1225 FPS In a 5” 10mm, stopping 2/10ths below max.

Ok, back to the pretty guns topic.
