I had the P238 and loved it. My only complaint is over time it stopped liking steel cased ammo. It didn't have a problem at first but over time would light strike them and they would not fire.
I assumed it was a damaged firing pin or stretched springs since they reccomend a very regular schedule of spring replacement. I replaced them all and still about 50/50 with the steel cased. Unfortunately it is my ONLY .380 and I have tons of steel ammo.
I eventually upgraded to a 9mm and although I really loved my P238 I did not go with the P938 because I HATE external safeties. I understand the need for one, especially in this gun given the light trigger but opted for a Kahr CM9 instead.
The P238 and P938 are both very manageable considering their size, reliable and EASY to shoot. I would definitely reccommend them. Their CS was excellent to. I needed it for a very minor problem.
