I never thought I would like SA revolvers but I picked up a Ruger Super Blackhawk .44 magnum and I was hooked!
I reload for it and can shoot as light (or heavy) as I want. There will be more SAs in my future!

driftwood johnson,

love that s&w second model with the european booger hook! don't see many originals of the gun that started "inside lubricated bullets"!

Wow. The case colors on that 4th Colt .45 down are just beautiful. Is that an Italian job?

I dug this one out, so I guess I'll get some extra mileage out of the picture tonight:

Whilst I have photobucket cracked open...

A pair of project revolvers, hopefully have time to finish them this summer, original Vaqueros in 44mag:

My old standby hunting workhorse I picked up in 1998:

These are not the only single action revolvers I own, but they are a bit unique. I hated the black "bluing" Ruger used on these, so I stripped off the factory finish. It's fun to play with combinations of cold blue and plum/brown finishes for a one-of-a-kind look. Well, maybe two-of-a-kind!

Here are the only two I have, and I keep them for sentimental reasons than anything else. One is pretty unique, but both have a lot of history.

My two single actions. One is a Ruger 357 Mag Three Screw. IMG_1104.JPG

The other is a Great Western Arms 357 Atomic Mag. IMG_1105.JPG
