If one of my bullets flew errant and hit an innocent bystander I would gladly pay for their medical needs. I hit what I aim at though, so if I do hit a bystander they probably owe me money or called me a mean name like poopy head.
If you think a 21 year old can't hit his target, then you must have no idea how many 18-21 year olds ar in the military. And don't give me "but they are trained professionals!" crap because a soldier in the U.S. Army only has to qualify once a year with his M16, that's a total of 40 rounds he has to shoot every 12 months. Some units train a lot more at the range, but not all of them. You trust someone that only has to shoot 40 rounds a year to meet the standard to protect your freedoms, but a 21 year old student cannot be a good shot?
and before you start saying how I am wrong and also I shouldn't bash on soldiers. You are talking to one right here. Yup, took the oath to protect the U.S. constitution even though I am not a citizen. What have you done for this country besides take a stance to strip basic rights away from college students and perm residents(whom enjoy all those rights and liberties for the most part)?
